CMA matches payer IME needs to the provider supply via two referral mechanisms:
 Satellite office model
Network office model
The satellite model describes services that are scheduled and conducted at CMA subleased spaces. We currently have 10 satellite offices in addition to our corporate office in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.
The satellite model encourages claim adjusters, attorneys and other referral sources to schedule multiple services thus taking advantage of provider availability in a given location within a specified block of time.
The network model provides CMA with expanded geographic coverage especially, beyond Pennsylvania's borders. A network model allows CMA to become a virtual IME company offering nationwide capabilities.
CMA can provide an IME coordinator on-site at our satellite offices but not during network generated referrals. The network model affords flexibility to IME providers to conduct examinations within their own offices or at geographically close medical centers.
